Shore Strategies LLC is a solutions oriented social impact and placemaking consulting firm serving the Delmarva Peninsula and beyond with a range of services and technical assistance for nonprofits, rural governments and small businesses.
We understand the unique challenges faced in rural places and can enhance your capacity to meet those challenges. We help you map the journey to reach your vision whether your focus is to create a roadmap for your organization’s future, build a plan to launch a new program, design a municipal site, or launch a new business.

Kat Stork Blaher
Owner & Founder
Kat Stork Blaher founded Shore Strategies, LLC in 2019. Kat created the firm to utilize her skills and experience to support community organizations of all types with strategies and expertise developed through more than 30 years in nonprofit and public sector work. She brings with her experience and knowledge in leading nonprofit organizations and public sector programs and projects that strengthened the communities they are embedded in.
Since its founding Shore Strategies, LLC has been blessed to be able to round out its expert pool with a team of passionate experienced professionals.
Nancy Scozarri
Nancy Scozarri is a landscape architect and planner with 30+ years of experience in planning. She understands what is involved in bringing a place making vision to reality through intentional planning and design. She specializes in parks and trails planning from concept to completion.
Kim Duncan
Kim Duncan brings 20+ years of program and grants management expertise to her work with Shore Strategies clients. She iis a data wizard who uses statistics and data to build a comprehensive understanding of an organization or community’s assets and to assist in developing metrics for long-term measurable outcomes.
Stacy Gardner
Stacy Gardner knows that at the core of building strong communities is ensuring that community members are at the table and their voices are heard in designing solutions to build strong communities. Stacy’s greatest strength is her ability to invite everyone who needs to be in the conversation and support them in sharing their lived experiences and giving voice to their vision for the future.
